I use Google Analytics cookies to measure how you use my websites and web services.

These cookies collect information about:

  • the pages you visit and how long you spend on each page

2. Third-party cookies for authentication, security and fraud, and abuse prevention

The ability to differentiate between unique users and overactive clients is paramount for fighting online fraud and abuse, such as DoS attacks and invalid traffic.

Third-party cookies currently provide anti-abuse systems with a simple way of uniquely identifying users across the web.

I use Google reCAPTCHA that protects my websites from fraud and abuse.

3. Cookies that remember your settings

These cookies do things like remember your preferences and the choices you make, to personalise your experience of using the site.

4. Strictly necessary cookies

These essential cookies that must be present in order for the website to perform its fundamental tasks. (for example signing in, CSRF protection and etc.)

Keyboard shortcut for most browsers to clear all cookies

If you are using Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox you can quickly clear all cookies with a keyboard shortcut. While in your browser, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously on the keyboard to open the appropriate window.

IMPORTANT: If you clear all cookies, you're signed out of all websites and your saved preferences could be deleted. Be sure and close/quit the browser and restart it after clearing the cookies.
